Applicable to All Online Competency Assessments
This policy aims to ensure fairness, consistency, and security in the administration of all online competency-based assessments developed and delivered under. It outlines clear guidelines for candidates, proctors, and administrators to uphold the quality and credibility of the testing process.
Assessments are intended for individuals who meet the designated role qualifications as determined by the hiring or training authority. Candidates are expected to complete the assessment independently and honestly. Assistance from others, the use of unauthorized resources, or impersonation will be considered a breach of integrity.
Candidates must complete the assessment using a reliable internet connection and a functioning device (laptop or desktop is preferred). The environment should be quiet, free of distractions, and well-lit. If the assessment includes AI-powered video interviews, the candidate may be required to activate their webcam and microphone.
Assessments may include a variety of question types tailored to the competencies being evaluated.
Assessments may include:
Each test is designed to measure both knowledge-based and skill-based attributes relevant to the target role.
Each assessment is time-bound, with durations ranging between 30 to 60 minutes depending on complexity. Candidates are allowed only one attempt per testing cycle, unless otherwise stated.
Candidates who do not achieve a passing score may retake the assessment after a mandatory waiting period of 30 days. This cool-off period is in place to preserve test integrity and encourage meaningful preparation. No candidate may take the same assessment more than five times in a 12-month period. These parameters reflect industry best practices.
Additionally, if the platform supports it, question and answer shuffling is encouraged to reduce familiarity bias during retakes. Special requests for earlier retakes or exemptions must be submitted in writing for review and approval.
All assessment content is strictly confidential. Sharing, recording, copying, or distributing questions or answers is strictly prohibited. Platforms that support it may enable randomization of questions and options to discourage pattern recognition. Candidates found engaging in dishonest behavior, including receiving external assistance or accessing unauthorized resources, may be immediately disqualified.
If a candidate is suspected of cheating, the assessment will be terminated immediately by the proctor or administrator. The candidate will be notified of the observed behavior, and documentation of the infraction will be recorded. Confirmed violations may result in disqualification from current and future assessments.
Assessment scores will be calculated using either absolute (right/wrong) or weighted scoring models based on the assessment type. Score reports may include domain-specific feedback and general performance summaries. All results are subject to final verification by the assessment administrator.
While specific answers will not be disclosed, general performance feedback may be requested. Candidates wishing to appeal results must do so within seven calendar days of receiving their score. Appeals will be reviewed by the assessment team and addressed on a case-by-case basis.
This policy will be reviewed regularly and updated as necessary to reflect changes in platform capabilities, assessment design, or industry standards. Candidates will be informed of any material changes before their assessment date.
